Obituary of Thomas L. Smith
Thomas L. Smith, age 60, of Morris Run, PA, died Thursday, March 1, 2012 at The Green Home, Wellsboro, PA. He was born November 6, 1951 in Blossburg, PA, a son of Robert and Beatrice (Leonard) Smith, Sr. Thomas worked in the pallet business, was a commercial fisherman, and a tree trimmer. He was a member of the Seventh Day Adventist Church in Blossburg. Thomas enjoyed hunting and fishing.
Thomas is survived by his wife, Cindy Jo (Smith) Smith of Morris Run; a son, Joshua Smith of Cut Off, LA; step-son, William (Lori) Smith of Blossburg, PA; two daughters, Brandi Ribble of Wellsboro, PA and Genna Rice of SD; a step daughter, Angela Short of Morris Run, PA; 16 grandchildren and 1 great granddaughter, Adaline; 4 brothers and sisters-in-law, Bill and Barbara Smith of Hamburg, PA, Jim and Marie Smith of Blossburg, Bob and Linda Smith, Jr. of Morris Run, Dean and Doreen Smith of Ooleha, TN; 5 sisters and brothers-in-law, Cora and Jim Roupp of Blossburg, Mary and Neal Calhoun of Salem, WV, Joan and Bill Clodfelter of Blossburg, Linda and Homer Strong of Mainesburg, Tina Fink of Auburn, PA.
Family and friends are invited to call on Sunday, March 11, 2012 from 2:00 to 4:00 P.M. at the Blossburg Seventh Day Adventist Church, 116 N. Williamson Rd., Blossburg, PA. A memorial service will follow at 4:00 P.M. at the church with Pastor Michael Bernard officiating. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to Laurel Health Hospice, 24 Walnut St., Wellsboro, PA 16901. Burial will be in Arbon Cemetery, Blossburg, PA.
