Obituary of Robert L. Rice

Robert L. Rice, age 71, of Mainesburg, PA died Tuesday, February 7, 2012 at Soldiers & Sailors Memorial Hospital, Wellsboro, PA. Robert was born August 26, 1940 in Mainesburg, PA, a son of Floyd and Eva (Miller) Rice. Robert was a retired contractor and enjoyed hunting. He served in the National Guard during the Cuban Missile Crisis. Robert is survived by two daughters and sons-in-law, Laurie and Ben Jones of Blossburg, PA and Debbie and Donald Shawver of McClure, PA; three brothers and sisters-in-law, Paul and Shirley Rice of NC, Ronald and Carol Rice and Larry and Donna Rice, all of Mainesburg, PA; two sisters and brothers-in-law, Margaret Ann and Donald Farr of FL, Catherine and Kenneth Dibble of Mansfield, PA. He was predeceased by his parents. In keeping with Roberts wishes, there will be no services. The Buckheit Funeral Chapel and Crematory, Inc., 637 S.
