Obituary of Alexander James Hunter

Alexander James AJ Hunter, age 75, of Morris, PA, died Saturday, August 13, 2011 at his home. AJ was born October 15, 1935 in Blossburg, PA, a son of John and Anna C. (Christian) Hunter. He was married to Jeanne B. (Berg) Hunter for 51 years on April 24th. AJ had worked as an electrician for the former Corning Glass Plant in Wellsboro, Seamans, G.T.E. and Osram Sylvania. He enjoyed hunting, fishing, carpentry, farming, scrapping metal, and his dogs, Ter and Chase. AJ had served in the National Guard. AJ is survived by his wife, Jeanne; a son and daughter-in-law, Gary and Fern Hunter of Morris, PA; two brothers and a sister-in-law, Donald and Nancy Hunter of Nauvoo, Bruce (Dianne Seman) Hunter of Honesdale, PA; 8 grandchildren and 1 great grandchild. AJ was predeceased by his parents; twin sister, Edith Patterson; and a brother, Brian Hunter. In keeping with AJs wishes, there will be no services.
