Obituary of Emily Jane Ferry

Emily Jane Ferry, age 86, of Wellsboro, PA, died Thursday, August 4, 2011, at Soldiers & Sailors Memorial Hospital, Wellsboro, PA. Emily was born June 2, 1925 in Atlanta, GA, a daughter of Earl West and Janie (Dillahunty) Abery. She was the wife of the late Boyd Walbridge Ferry who passed away March 30, 2003. Emily was a member of the Historical Society in Wellsboro, and enjoyed traveling. Emily is survived by a daughter and son-in-law, Joanne and John Daryl Bockus of Wellsboro, PA; one granddaughter, Rebecca Bockus of Richmond, VA. She was predeceased by her husband, Boyd, a son Dana Richard Ferry in 1978, and a sister, Nancy Ellery. In keeping with Emilys wishes, there will be no services.
