Obituary of Lou Sine
Lou (Olver) Sine, age 96, of Bradford County Manor, formerly of Mansfield, PA, died Saturday, May 21, 2011 at Robert Packer Hospital, Sayre, PA. Lou was born June 1, 1914 in Richburg, NY, a daughter of Thomas and Mary (Horton) Olver. She worked at the former Wellsboro Glass Factory and the former Eclipse in Elmira Heights, NY before graduating from Jean Summers Business School. She then worked for Wells and Goodall Pontiac in Mansfield, PA. Lou was employed as a foster grandparent, a member of the Mansfield Garden Club, the Rebekahs, and enjoyed bowling until she was 90.
Lou is survived by a son and daughter-in-law, Stanley and Joyce Sine of Troy, PA; one granddaughter, Beth McClure of Tioga, PA; 3 great grandchildren, Rachael McClure, Tristan McClure, and D.J. McClure; 3 great grandchildren, Donald and Randi Bull, Kelby McClure; two special nieces, Marge McCoy and Cindy Kelly. Lou was predeceased by a sister, Ida Kelly.
Family and friends are invited to call on Thursday, May 26, 2011 from 5:00 to 6:00 P.M. at the Jacquelyn A. Buckheit Funeral Chapel, Crematory & Monuments, PC, 637 S. Main St., Mansfield, PA. Funeral services will follow the visitation at 6:00 P.M. at the funeral home with the Rev. Steve Case officiating. Burial will be in Prospect Cemetery, Mansfield, PA. www.buckheitfcandcrematory.com
