Obituary of Michael D. Watkins

Michael Dean Watkins, age 19, of Covington, PA, died on Wednesday, November 29, 2006 in Richmond Township. Michael was born on January 13, 1987 in Wellsboro, PA, the son of David L. and Clara (Carew) Watkins. Michael was employed by Murus Company. He was a 2005 graduate of North Penn High School where he lettered in basketball, football and track. He enjoyed fishing, hunting, mudding and four wheelers. In addition to his parents, Michael is survived by his stepfather David Holley of Covington, PA, a sister Trisha Holley of Covington, PA, paternal grandparents Rebecca and Ralph Watkins, Jr. of Covington, PA, maternal grandmother Elizabeth DeHaven of Roseville, PA, step grandparents Clarence and Betty Holley of Morris Run, PA; paternal great grandparents Howard and Mary Jane Whittaker of California; paternal great grandmother Lorrine; honorary grandparents Kathy and Junior Branton of South Carolina, several aunts, uncles and cousins. Family and friends are invited to call on Saturday, December 2, 2006 from 6:00 to 8:00 P.M. at the Jacquelyn A. Buckheit Funeral Chapel, Crematory & Monuments, PC, 637 S. Main St., Mansfield, PA. A funeral service will be held immediately following the visitation at 8:00 P.M. at the funeral home.
