Obituary of Thomas C. Douglas
Thomas, Tom C. Douglas, age 54, of Middlebury Center, PA, died Friday, March 11, 2011. Tom was born January 25, 1957 in Blossburg, PA, a son of Charles and Eva (Tompkins) Douglas. He was employed by the Dietrichs Milk Plant. Tom was the husband of Gwendolyn Wendy (Chilson) Douglas. He was very mechanically inclined, enjoyed NASCAR, watching movies, and fixing cars.
Tom is survived by his wife, Wendy, of Middlebury Center, PA; a son, Casey (Jen Weinman) of Raleigh, NC; a daughter, Shannon Douglas of Middlebury Center, PA; a brother and sister-in-law, Lewis (Phyllis) Douglas of Middlebury Center, PA; four sisters and brothers-in-law, Linda and Richard Ingerick of Wellsboro, PA, Lola and Benjamin Moore of Osceola, PA, Carol and Donald Benelli of Wellsboro, PA, Irene and William Appel of Middlebury Center, PA, mother-in-law and step-father-in-law, Bill (Susan) OConners of Wellsboro, PA; father-in-law and step-mother-in-law, Jesse (Joyce) Chilson of Yuma, AZ; sister-in-law, Peggy (Steve) Adams of Wellsboro, brother-in-law, Michael (Shanon) Chilson of Apache Junction, AZ; nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles and cousins. Tom was predeceased by his parents, two brothers and a sister-in-law, Frederick (Jane) Douglas, and Phillip Douglas.
A private memorial service will be held at Jacquelyn A. Buckheit Funeral Chapel, Crematory & Monuments, PC, 637 S. Main St., Mansfield, PA.
