Our thoughts are with you. My memory of Alfred is in church with his grandson Randy, who I thought looked like a minature Alfred. You could tell how proud he was of him. I also remember shopping with mom and dad at Weis and he and Alfred talking about the "old times". It won't be the same driving by the house without him giving a wave. Your family is in our prayers.

A wealthy man is not really determined by property, things, or money. The wealth of a man is measured by the many people who loved him. Uncle Alfred was indeed an exceedingly wealthy man. He was second to no one. So caring, talented, and skillful. So caring about the welfare of others and truly interested in others. No matter what life threw at him, Uncle Alfred ALWAYS conducted himself with grace, dignity, and class. I have been very blessed as a child and as an adult to have had him in my life. And although Uncle Alfred no longer maintains an earthly presence, he will live on forever in my heart and in the memories of my son and granddaughter. I will ensure that they know him, even if it is only through my memories.
