Obituary of Gertrude A. Aldrich

Gertrude A. Aldrich, age 83, of Martinez, GA, formerly of Millerton, PA died Thursday, January 6, 2011 at University Hospital, Augusta, GA. Gertrude was born April 25, 1927 in Genoa, NE, a daughter of Kelly and Adonia (Rosno) Zarek. Gertrude was the wife of the late Barrett Aldrich who passed away on January 25, 2001. She worked as a packer at the former A & P Plant in Horseheads, NY. Gertrude is survived by a son and daughter-in-law, Tim and Deb Miller of Harleysville, PA; three daughters and a son-in-law, Patricia and Keith Howe of Martinez, GA, Linda Cooper of New Bloomfield, PA, Roxie Aldrich of Liberty, PA; step-son, James Aldrich of New Bloomfield, PA; eleven grandchildren, Kevin (Lidia) Howe, Kyle (Tiffany) Howe, Henry (Sandra) Cooper, Cecil Cooper, Kristie (Kevin) Hill, James Aldrich, T.J. (Molly) Miller, Jerry (Shannon) Miller, Jennifer (Josh) Shelly, Derek Westlake, Aaron Westlake; twenty great grandchildren; brother, Kelly Zarek, Jr. of Columbia, SC; sister, Loretta Tetor of Bath, NY; sister-in-law, Sylvene Pratt of Millerton, PA. Gertrude was predeceased by her husband, Barrett Aldrich, and a brother, Larry Zarek. Family and friends are invited to call on Thursday, January 13, 2011 from 1:00 to 2:00 P.M. at the Jacquelyn A.
