Obituary of Shawn Schreck

Shawn Schreck, age 54, of Mansfield, PA, died Sunday, January 2, 2011 at Robert Packer Hospital, Sayre, PA. Shawn was born April 11, 1956 in Williamsport, PA, a son of William and Mary (Beyer) Schreck. He was the husband of Barbara (Keefer) Schreck. Shawn was the owner of Ye Old Detail Shop, Mansfield, PA and had worked for Citizens & Northern Bank, CSR Accounting Firm and Stambaugh & Ness in York, PA. He enjoyed going to car shows, hunting, camping, fishing, restoring old cars and spending time with his family. Shawn had served as a 4H leader and was a member of the Tyoga County Motor Club. Shawn is survived by his wife, Barbara, of Mansfield; a daughter, Angela Schreck, of Mansfield, PA; a brother and sister-in-law, William and Virginia Schreck, Jr. of Jersey Shore, PA; special friends, Duane and Linda Anderson of Morris Run, PA. Family and friends are invited to call on Saturday, January 8, 2011 from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM at the Jacquelyn A. Buckheit Funeral Chapel, Crematory & Monuments, PC, 637 S. Main St., Mansfield, PA. A memorial service will be held immediately following calling hours at the funeral home at 2:00 PM with Pastor Dave McCarty officiating.
