Obituary of Sarah A. Pfeifer
Sarah A. Midge Pfeifer, of Mansfield, PA, died Friday, September 10, 2010 at Soldiers & Sailors Memorial Hospital, Wellsboro, PA. Sarah was born July 5 in Morris Run, PA, a daughter of Roy Sr. and Ruth (Edwards) Aumick. She was the wife of Patrick A. Pfeifer. Sarah worked for the former Hartsocks Bakery in Mansfield, and retired from Paper Magic in Troy, PA in 1988. She was a member of the State Road Baptist Church. Sarah enjoyed hunting, flowers, quilting and cooking.
Sarah is survived by her husband, Patrick; two sons and a daughter-in-law, Cliff Cross and Bonnie Roupp of Covington, PA, Roy and Dolly Cross of Mainesburg, PA; three daughters and sons-in-law, Ruth and Art Cordova of Colorado Springs, CO, Rose and Ray Barnes of Mansfield, PA, Donna Mae and Art Kline of Mainesburg, PA; 14 grandchildren; 24 great grandchildren; 7 great great grandchildren; a brother, James Aumick of Mainesburg, PA; a sister, Essie Thomas of Mansfield, PA. She was predeceased by a son and daughter-in-law, Clayton and Linda Cross, brothers, Stan, Dennis, John, George, and Roy Aumick, Jr.; sisters, Betty Kingsley, Edna Towner, Nellie Knowlton and Rose Aumick.
Family and friends are invited to call on Tuesday, September 14, 2010 from 6:00 to 8:00 P.M. at the Jacquelyn A. Buckheit Funeral Chapel, Crematory & Monuments, PC, 637 S. Main St., Mansfield, PA. Funeral services will be held immediately following the visitation at 8:00 P.M. at the funeral home with Bill Baker officiating. Burial will be in State Road Baptist Church Cemetery, Mainesburg, PA on Sunday, September 19, 2010 at 1:00 P.M. www.buckheitfcandcrematory.com
