Obituary of Sam Quelch
Miss Sam Quelch, age 81, of Wellsboro, PA, died Friday, September 10, 2010 at home. Sam was born on May 18, 1929, the daughter of William Quelch. She had been employed by KLM Airline (Royal Dutch Airlines) as an airline service representative. Sam was a member of the Quilters Guild, was an artisan of many talents, loved animals and traveling.
Sam is survived by a daughter and a son-in-law, Candace A. and Jerry DeLong of Wellsboro, PA; 4 grandchildren, Tiffany A. (John) Schallenhammer of NJ, Christopher P. Rymarczuk of PA, Erik M. Rymarczuk of PA, Peter M. Rymarczuk of PA, 3 grandchildren by marriage, Wade C. (Karen) DeLong of Middlebury, PA, Matthew A. (Juvelyn) DeLong of Wellsboro, PA, Amanda DeLong of Arnot, PA; two great grandchildren, Natasha Rymarczuk of PA, Christopher Dragoni of NJ.
Family and friends are invited to attend a visitation on Friday, September 17, 2010 from 6 to 8 PM at the Jacquelyn A. Buckheit Funeral Chapel, Crematory & Monuments, PC, 637 S. Main St., Mansfield, PA. A memorial mass will be celebrated on Saturday, September 18, 2010 at 9:30 AM at the St. Peters Catholic Church in Wellsboro, PA with the Rev. John J. Chmil as celebrant.
