Obituary of Kenneth S. Carey

Kenneth S. Carey, age 78, of Roseville, PA, died at his home Thursday, September 9, 2010 surrounded by his loving family. He was born June 3, 1932 in Fallbrook PA, a son of Seymour and Creola (Winn) Carey. Kenneth was the husband of Patricia (Simpson) Carey for 56 years. He had been employed by Harding Brothers before his retirement, and enjoyed woodworking, fishing and hunting. Kenneth is survived by his wife, Patricia; three sons and two daughters-in-law, Kenneth Carey of Canton, PA, William and Jackie Carey of Westfield, PA, Alan and Sue Carey of Royal Palm Beach, FL; two daughters and sons-in-law, Donna and Craig Deitrich of Cherry Flats, PA, Connie and Curtis Moore of Mainesburg, PA; 11 grandchildren, 19 great grandchildren and a sister, June Harden of Mansfield, PA. In addition to his parents, he was predeceased by a sister, Mary Ellen Terry, a brother, James Carey, and a step-mother, Isabel Carey. Family and friends are invited to call on Sunday, September 26, 2010 from 1:00 to 3:00 P.M. at the Jacquelyn A. Buckheit Funeral Chapel, Crematory & Monuments, PC, 637 S. Main St., Mansfield, PA. A memorial service will be held immediately following the visitation at 3:00 P.M. at the funeral home with Gary Brown of Wellsboro officiating.
