Obituary of Edward R. Bell
Edward R. Bell, age 52, of Wellsboro, PA, died on Thursday, September 9, 2010 in the Williamsport Hospital, Williamsport, PA. Born on February 24, 1958 in Harrisburg, PA, he was the son of Earl Ray and Delores J. (Shaffer) Bell.
Edward was employed as a landscaper in the Virginia area. He was a member of the Loyal Order of the Moose Lodge #1147 in Wellsboro, the Wellsboro Veterans Club, the Arnot Sportsmens Club and the Sons of the Legion in Lewisburg, PA. Edward also enjoyed singing.
Edward is survived by his loving companion, Glenda Strong of Wellsboro, PA; four brothers; Tom Bell of Gardners, PA, David Bell of Gettysburg, PA, Scott Bell of New Oxford, PA, Michael Bell of Lebanon, PA; three sisters, Sandy L. Riley of New Oxford, PA, Debbie B. Smith of New Oxford, PA, Ranee L. Brown of Littlestown, PA; one step brother, R. Joseph Bobby Poist of New Oxford, PA; two step sisters, Patty Poist of Dayton, OH, and Mindy Poist of New York state. In addition to his parents, he was predeceased by a step father, Robert Pop Poist.
A memorial service for Edward will be held at a later date. Arrangements have been entrusted to the Jacquelyn A. Buckheit Funeral Chapel, Crematory & Monuments, PC, 637 S. Main Street, Mansfield, PA 16933. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the Jacquelyn A. Buckheit Funeral Chapel to assist with expenses. www.buckheitfcandcrematory.com
