Obituary of Roy F. Schmoock

Roy F. Schmoock, age 82, of Morris, PA, died August 1, 2010 at Geisinger Medical Center, Danville, PA. Roy was born September 27, 1927 in Roslyn, PA, a son of Wilhelm and Dora Christine (Schoeder) Schmoock. He was the husband of Flora (Cruise) Schmoock with whom he celebrated their 61st wedding anniversary on July 30th. Roy was an Electrical Engineer for Fischer and Porter in Warminster, PA for over 30 years. He was honored in 1978 as one of the three most prodigious inventors. He was a Navy veteran having served during WWII and the Korean War. Roy was a member of the American Legion in Bucks County and Wellsboro, PA. Roy is survived by his wife, Flora; three daughters and a son-in-law, Linda (John) Brayshaw, Bucks Co., PA, Carol (Ken Jupiter) Schmoock of Ithaca, NY, Connie Egan of Bucks Co., PA; three grandchildren, Melinda Gordon, Lisa Miller and Courtney Egan; two great grandchildren, Sydney Gordon and Connor Egan; many nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by a grandson, Michael Brayshaw in 1998, and five brothers and sisters. A memorial service will be held at a later date. The Jacquelyn A.
