Obituary of Sara L. Dexter

Sara L. Dexter, age 82, of Wellsboro, PA, died Saturday, July 17, 2010 at Soldiers & Sailors Memorial Hospital, Wellsboro, PA. Sara was born May 26, 1928 in Blossburg, PA, a daughter of Kenneth and Naomi (Huseman) White. She was the wife of Norris F. Dexter celebrating their 64th wedding anniversary of June 19th. Sara was employed by Soldiers and Sailors Hospital laundry department before her retirement. She enjoyed caring for cats. Sara is survived by her husband, Norris, of Wellsboro; a son and daughter-in-law, Ronald N. and Deborah S. Dexter of Wellsboro; four grandchildren; eight great grandchildren; a brother and sister-in-law, Richard A. and Ruth Ann White of Wellsboro, PA. She was predeceased by a son, Dennis Alan Dexter on February 25, 2010. In keeping with Saras wishes, there will be no services. Burial will be in Tioga County Memorial Gardens, Mansfield, PA.
