Obituary of Charles F. Streeter
Charles F. Streeter, age 77, of Troy, PA, died Saturday, July 3, 2010 in Bradford County Manor, Troy, PA. Charles was born July 29, 1932 in Rome, PA, a son of Helen Streeter. He was the husband of Marcene (Bement) Streeter with whom he would have celebrated a 58th anniversary on July 10th. Charles was a graduate of Towanda High School and retired after 25 years of service from G.T.E. Sylvania, Towanda, PA. He enjoyed camping with their motor homes, fishing and having large gatherings at their indoor pool before declining health. He enjoyed watching the progress of the new well drillings and the wind mills of Armenia and lunches at Julies Country Kitchen.
Charles is survived by his wife, Marcene; five sons and daughters-in-law, Denis (Diane) Streeter of Hawley, PA, Michael (Connie) Streeter, Sr. of Towanda, PA, Brian (Jackie) Streeter of West Burlington, PA, Randy (Penny) Streeter of Troy, PA, Scot (Michelle) Streeter of West Burling, PA; two daughters and sons-in-law, Irene (John) Forsyth of Whitney Point, NY, Marchelle (Tony) Paesano of Grand Prarie, TX; 21 grandchildren; 9 great grandchildren. He was predeceased by brothers, Paul, Lloyd, and Sidney, a sister, Betty Beardslee.
Family and friends are invited to call on Friday, July 9, 2010 from 10:00 to 11:00 A.M. at the West Burlington United Methodist Church. A memorial service will be held at the church at 11:00 A.M. Burial will be in Glenwood Cemetery, Troy, PA. Memorial contributions may be made in Charles memory to the Parkinsons Disease Foundation, 1359 Broadway, Suite 1509, New York, NY 10018, or to a charity of ones choice. The Jacquelyn A.
