Obituary of Richard L. Bentley

Richard Lee Bentley, age 62, Mansfield PA, passed away Friday, May 7th, 2010 after a courageous battle with cancer. Born June 5, 1947, a son of Margaret Jane Welch Bentley (father predeceased, Donald Earl Bentley). Richard was owner of Bentleys Auto Mart for 11 years, an avid elk hunter, golfer and animal lover. He will be remembered for his love of life. His smile and sense of humor brightened everyones day. No one ever left his presence without a smile. Survived by his wife, Diane Robinson Bentley; children, Chad (and Jennifer) Bentley, Portland Oregon, Brian Bentley of Spokane, Washington, Ted (Carla) Fuller of Middlebury Center. Siblings, Donna K. Davey (Richard), Mansfield, PA, Duane L. Bentley (Diane), Ignacio, Colorado, Donald Dean Bentley, Mainesburg, PA, Harry Robinson (Mary Jo predeceased), Wellsboro, PA, David Robinson (Diana), Wellsboro, PA. Grandchildren, Noah, Matt, McKayla, Darcy and Bailey, and many nephews, nieces and cousins. There will be a memorial service on Sunday, May 16th, 2010 from 2:00 to 4:00 P.M. at his church, the State Road Baptist Church in Mainesburg, PA 16932. The family will provide any flowers.
