I do remember the Sunday dinners at Grandma's they were so good, she would send some home with me and Dad for Mom cause on every other weekend Mom had to work or Mom would come down when she got done work to visit with whomever was still there when she got there. I can remember the times when I was a very little girl that I used to get on & off the bus at Gram's cause the bus didn't come up our road for the longest time. Then when the bus did start coming up our road I missed going down to Gram's early in the morning waiting for the bus to get there. She helped me thru some tough times that I had after I graduated high school and I will never forget that. I will miss her & the talks we used to have about life in general.

Wow, there are so many...where do I begin. There was always the big Sunday family dinners. Grandma was a very good cook. How we could fit so many people around the table was a miracle...sometimes it got a little "cozy". One of her favorite things was looking at and collecting cookbooks...(guess I know where I get it from). She was always looking for a new recipe. On weekendend visits,I would have to have my cup of tea with Gram....she always had lots of different flavors. She was always there to share the trials and tribulations of life and was supportive of those endeavors...but she sure let you know when you messed up! (Not that I did all that much). One of her philosophies she instilled was that you can't fail if you at least try. She was a humble woman who showed great strength and determination despite the obstacles in her own life. She would always be just a phone call away to offer advice or words of wisdom and just catch up on what was happening in the busy lives of the family.
