Obituary of Eugene Arthur Otis
Eugene A. Otis, age 74, of Bolivar, NY, died on Tuesday, September 26, 2006 in the Bath VA Hospital, Bath, NY. Eugene was born on October 14, 1931 in Williamsport, PA, a son of the late Arthur Faivre and Marion Robear Faivre.
Eugene was formerly employed as a truck driver for Taynton Trucking Company in Wellsboro, PA. He served with the United States Air Force and was a member of the Loyal Order of the Moose Wellsboro Lodge 1147.
Eugene is survived by three sons and daughters-in-law: Peter and Jen Clark of England, Butch and Eva Otis of Kentucky, Steven and Lynne Otis of Chester, ME; four daughters and sons-in-law: Theresa and John Allen, Kimberly Otis and Tami Dunlap of Wellsboro, Andrea and Steven King of Scranton, PA; two sisters and a brother-in-law: Helen and Richard Brill of Mansfield, PA, Dorothy Shaw of Wellsboro, PA; fifteen grandchildren, thirteen great grandchildren and one great great granddaughter. In addition to his parents, Eugene was predeceased by a half-brother, Leonard Otis and half-sister, Beverly Cuddy.
A graveside service will be held on Friday, October 27, 2006 at 11:00 A.M. at the Bath National Woodlawn Cemetery, Bath, NY with Chaplain Linda Leibhart officiating. The Jacquelyn A.
