Obituary of Dorothy J. Priset

Dorothy J. Priset, age 91, formerly of Mansfield, PA and Park Hill Manor, Wellsboro, PA, died Thursday, March 25, 2010 at her daughters home in Carlisle, PA. Dorothy was the wife of the late Claude M. West and the late Oscar W. Priset. She was born on November 7, 1918 in Charleston Twp., PA a daughter of Ernest R. and Iva (Smith) Jelliff. Dorothy had been employed by Corning Glass. She was a member of Cherry Flats Baptist Church. Dorothy enjoyed spending time with her family, playing board games, knitting, and crocheting. Dorothy is survived by her daughter, Joan W.Jones of Carlisle, PA; her son-in-law, Charles Logan, of Wellsboro, PA; seven grandchildren; twelve great-grandchildren, and three great-great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her daughter, Dora, herparents,four brothers, andtwo sisters. AMemorial Service will be heldon Tuesday, March 30, 2010, at2:00 PM in the Cherry Flats Baptist Church.
