Obituary of Dennis Alan Dexter

Dennis A. Dexter, age 59, of Mansfield, PA, died Thursday, February 25, 2010 at his home. Dennis was born May 2, 1950 in Wellsboro, PA, a son of Norris and Sara (White) Dexter. He was employed as a Corrections Officer for the Tioga County Sheriffs Dept. Dennis was a lifetime member of the V.F.W. Post 4907 in Wellsboro; past member of the Loyal Order of the Moose, Wellsboro, and the N.R.A. He was a U.S. Army veteran. Dennis is survived by his parents, Norris and Sara Dexter of Wellsboro; a son, Christopher Dexter of Wellsboro, PA; a daughter and son-in-law, Tina and Daniel J. Stadler of Wellsboro, PA; two grandchildren, Damian and Harlee Stadler; a brother and sister-in-law, Ronald N. and Deborah S. Dexter of Wellsboro, PA. A private memorial service will be held at the convenience of the family. Burial will be in Woodlawn National Cemetery, Elmira, NY. Memorial contributions may be made in Dennis memory to the V.F.W.
