Obituary of Ronald P. Enderle
Ronald P. Enderle, age 83, of Tioga, PA, died unexpectedly on Friday, December 3, 2010 in Solders and Sailors Memorial Hospital, Wellsboro, PA. Born on August 16, 1929 in Tioga, he was the son of Leon and Ruby (Youngs) Enderle. His wife of 55 years, Shirley L. (Monks) Enderle predeceased him in 2008.
Prior to his retirement, Ronald was employed as a fork lift operator with the A&P plant in Horseheads, NY. He enjoyed woodworking, fishing, travelling to eat at different restaurants, camping and sightseeing. He served with the the US Armys 35th Infantry Regiment during the Korean War and was a longtime member of the American Legion.
Ronald is survived by four daughters and sons-in-law, Sylvia and David Loveland of Lawrenceville, PA, Ronda and Stan Heinrich of Covington, PA, Ruby and Barney Bentley of Tioga, PA, Cindy and Ron Chaapel of Canton, PA; two sisters and a brother-in-law, Donna and Phil Schoonover of Campbell, NY, Betty Young of Tioga, PA; a son-in-law, Phil Douglas of Alma, GA; 11 grandchildren; 6 great grandchildren; several step grandchildren and great grandchildren: special friends, Hank Decker of Elmira, NY, Rich and Lynn Klinikowski of Reading, PA. In addition to his wife, Shirley, Ronald was predeceased by a daughter, Marlene Douglas in 2008; a son, Phillip Enderle in 1980; three brothers, Wayne, Robert and Gerald Enderle and a sister, Arlene Welty.
Family and friends are invited to call on Wednesday, December 8, 2010 from 5:00 to 7:00 PM at the Jacquelyn A. Buckheit Funeral Chapel, Crematory & Monuments, PC, 637 S. Main Street, Mansfield, PA. A memorial service will be held immediately following calling hours at 7:00 PM at the funeral home with Rev. Allen Hulslander officiating. Memorial contributions may be made in Ronalds name to the American Cancer Society, 1948 E. Third St., Williamsport, PA 17701 and the Tioga County Honor Guard Association, PO Box 504, Tioga, PA 16946.
