Obituary of Larry R. Lovejoy
Larry R. Lovejoy, age 54, of Tioga, PA, loving and devoted husband, father, and grandfather passed away on Sunday, November 28, 2010 in Robert Packer Hospital, Sayre, PA, after a courageous battle with cancer. Born on November 27, 1956 in Wellsboro, PA, he was the son of William Bill and Evelyn Jean (Mase) Lovejoy. Larry was the husband of Cindy (Smith) Lovejoy.
Larry hauled milk for 16 years for Lovejoys Milk Hauling and assisted his brother in the Lovejoys Garage. Larry and his wife were also the former owners of The Pub in Tioga, PA. Larry enjoyed spending his spare time with his family, hunting, playing pool and riding his Harley.
In addition to his wife, Cindy, Larry is survived by three daughters; Amanda (Mark ) Enderle of Corning, NY , Ashley Lovejoy of Erie, PA, Brittany (Daniel Nauman) Lovejoy of Tioga, PA; step-son, Brad (Amy) Robinson of Lawrenceville, PA; sister and brother-in-law, Judy and Mark Glover of Tioga, PA; grandchildren, Lhandyn, Dalton, Brock, Noah, Joseph, Brooke; nephews, Billy Borden of Tioga, PA, Richie (Cory Nederfield) Borden of Middlebury Center, PA; great niece, Mariah Borden of Middlebury Center, PA, several aunts, uncles and cousins. He was predeceased by his parents in 2005 and brother, Gary Lovejoy in 2008.
Family and friends are invited to call on Thursday, December 2, 2010 from 2:00 PM to 4:00 PM and 7:00 PM to 9:00 PM and Friday, December 3, 2010 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Jacquelyn A. Buckheit Funeral Chapel, Crematory & Monuments, PC, 637 South Main Street, Mansfield, PA. A funeral service will be held immediately following calling hours at 11:00 AM on Friday at the funeral home with Pastor Debra Button officiating.
