I was very sad to hear about Jane. She was my step-sister. I loved her a lot. I spent a lot of time with her when I was younger, baby-sitting for her. When I grew up, we grew apart, but that doesn't mean she wasn't my sister. When I think of Jane, I think of her always laughing and saying whatever she thought, no matter what other people thought. That is what I loved about her. I wish I could be more like her in that way. My thouhgts are with Jerry, Amber, Tiffany and Toad. If you ever need anything, I am here for you. Love, Lisa

Jane was my step-sister, but she is my sister in my heart. I used to stay with Jane and Jerry and watch Amber, Tiffany and Toad through the summer growing up. SHe watched over me, and took me school shopping, so Mom didn't have to take me. I know she is in a special place. Some day I will see her again. My Pastor's wife told me it will feel like seconds to her. I love you Jane and will miss you very much, but I know I'll see you one day. Love, Tammy If tears could build a stairway and memories were a lane, We would walk all the way to Heaven, to bring you home again. No farewell words were spoken, no time to say good-bye. You were gone before we knew it, and only God knows why. Our hearts ache in sadness, and secret tears will flow. What is meant to lose you, no one will ever know.

I love you, Jane. I wish that I could've said goodbye and told you how much I loved you. I wish I could've spent more time with you. I wish I could've seen your new house. I know how proud you were of the work that you and Jerry did to it. I should've made an effort to get there, no matter what. Tell Barry I said I love him and miss him so much too. What a reunion that must be for you and him. I know that you are celebrating in Heaven with him. I will miss you SO much. I treasure each and every memory with you in my heart and will always have a special place in my heart for you, my big sister. I'll never forget you being there for me when I was growing up and making my prom dress and wedding dress and anything else I ever needed or asked you for. I remember all the many times I stayed at your house on the weekends and loved spending time with you. You took me to my first party, (with all of 4 people)so that I would be able go. You helped me get ready for my prom and did countless other kind things for me that I am forever grateful for and will never forget. You were taken from us way too soon and we are so very sad. I know you are in Heaven looking down on us and saying, "Stop crying for me. I'm happy and in a good place. Have a party and celebrate my life". But we will cry - mostly for ourselves - because we miss you so and want you back with us. I know how much you loved your kids and grandkids and always made sure that you had time for them. I know you are so proud of them and will always watch over them. I also know how very much you loved Jerry and had such a long and meaningful marriage and I also know how very much he loves you. I know you two had plans for the future and retirement. I know he will feel lost without you, but you will be watching over him as well and will give him strength to go on. Please watch over Mom and Dad too and give them the peace of knowing that you are happy in Heaven. It can't be easy to lose one of your children, let alone two. I love you and will miss you so so much. Words really can't describe how much. Until we meet again. Love, Your Little Sister Amy

To my wonderful sister, Jane. Although we didn't always agree and had some pretty good disagreements, I will always remember our many good times. I won't be able to walk by a card rack and not think of you. I spent all year finding the perfect card :) I also won't be able to go through Christmas or sit around a campfire without remembering your "fireworks" from the Christmas tree lights. Not to mention, all the things we did as teenagers--taking mom's car, getting it stuck in the field and having to call all the way to Mansfield for a towtruck when our parents owned one--good times. You were my big sister that taught me many important things. I know you always were jealous because I didn't have to fight the battles that you did, but I sure did appreciate it--wish I could tell you that now. There are so many more, but there isn't enough space to tell all. I love you and will miss you. Tell Barry I love him and wish I would have had more time with him. I now know the importance of family--a lesson I should have learned when Barry passed. Love you always sis. I will keep this poem in my thoughts and try to remember that you wouldn't want me to cry--but I will, sorry. Do not stand at my grave and weep I am not there; I do not sleep. I am a thousand winds that blow, I am the diamond glints on snow, I am the sun on ripened grain, I am the gentle autumn rain. When you awaken in the morning's hush I am the swift uplifting rush Of quiet birds in circling flight. I am the soft starlight at night. Do not stand at my grave and cry, I am not there; I did not die.

My sister Jane was one of a kind. She was always laughing and smiling and had a wonderful sense of humor. She gave so much of herself to everyone around her and touched the heart of everyone she met. Jane was always there for me - through all the trials and tribulations of growing up. I stayed at hers and Jerry's house many many times growing up. She made my prom dress and my wedding gown. She is my daughter Ashley's godmother and made her Christening blanket. Whenever I was ever feeling down, she would always tell me something positive and to look on the bright side of things. She was so outgoing and always told me that I needed to meet more people and make more friends. When she came to visit me in VA once, she couldn't believe that I didn't know my neighbors. She said, "If it were me, I'd just walk over and introduce myself". And she would've. That was the kind of person she was - she made friends with everyone and everyone loved her. I have so many fond memories of Jane - too numerous to mention. She was a no nonsense person who told it like she saw it and was very strong and helped others to be strong as well. She had a special gift for sewing/ making things and for growing beautiful flowers and plants. She always found creative ways of saving money. She preferred giving homemade gifts over bought ones and even though she worked in retail, she hated the commercialism of everything. She also loved history and had a huge interest in finding out as much as she could about family history, in particular. I know that she is looking down from Heaven and saying, "Don't cry for me - have a party and celebrate my life." But, we will cry anyway...and we will celebrate her life. She has been reunited with our brother Barry and they are both looking down on us from Heaven. A big void has been left in her place with all of us. There are so many many lives that she touched. She was a wonderful wife, mother, grandmother, daughter, sister, aunt, friend, etc., and she will be deeply deeply missed. I love you Jane. You were taken from us too soon. Jerry, Amber, Jim, Tiffany, Jason, Jerry Gene, Tammy and all the grandchildren: I'm so sorry. She loved you so so much and she is looking down on you, telling you to be strong. Jerry, I know that you will feel lost without Jane, but you know she would want you to continue on and to be strong. Love you all.

Dear Jane, Honey, you left to quick for our get together. You left without us saying good~bye! But, you so hated goodbyes...it's almost like you planned it this way. You hated the tears as we waved and hugged after a get together. I just wish I could have seen you again to tell you how much I loved you, but I know in my heart you knew that too! Can you do me a favor...take away my tears...and then save a place for me right near you in Heaven...like you always did at our picnics, parties and weddings all the wonderful years we had you. I will miss our secrets, giggles, and the tears we seldom got to share...I will forever miss you my Miss Jane... You got to be with Teddy first...but I truly wish you weren't taken away so soon. Rest honey...I can see your crown when I close my eyes, and you are the most beautiful of all God's angels now. I just don't want to say good~bye, I love you honey, Sharon [Shari]

Dear Family, I am in shock...I feel and share your pain. Life is too dang short and so unpredictable. I loved her so much...she made a special place in my heart...and was such a special addition many. many years ago to my life and family. Though we got together, way too seldom...she knew where to call me for a chat and I her...those too, got fewer and farther in between. We got busy in our own lives with our kids and grandkids, but we loved each other like sisters. Jerry... honey I am at a lose for words...but I am here and will be there for you whenever you may need me. Girls, Aunt Shari so wants to be there with hugs tonight, but that is not possible nor needed right now. I will see you Thursday if not before...just call me if you need me before. Toader...fly safe tonight and tomorrow honey I will see you soon and get to meet my new *neice* Tammy. I love you all, Shari & Jimmy
