Obituary of Carl W. M. Franck

Carl William Franck, age 95, of Wellsboro, PA, died Friday, October 29, 2010 at Broad Acres Nursing and Rehabilitation Center, Wellsboro, PA. Carl was born July 20, 1915 in Willow Grove, PA, a son of William and Lilly (Meisner) Franck. Carl was the husband of the late Helen (Riday) Franck. He was a retired systems operator for Wellsboro Electric Co. and enjoyed hunting, fishing, and traveling around Canada in his Air Stream. Carl is survived by two sons and daughters-in-law, Eric and Joane Franck of Wellsboro, and Kevin and Melissa Franck of Wellsboro; two daughters and a son-in-law, Barbara DeFlabis of PA, and Betty and Bruno LoPresti of FL; a step daughter, Edith Jane (Robert) Metarko of Wellsboro; 9 grandchildren; 3 great grandchildren, 8 step grandchildren. Carl was predeceased by his wife, Helen, a son, Carl Franck, Jr., and a step-daughter, Helen Wallace. In keeping with Carls wishes, there will be no services.
