Obituary of Leola Glover
Leola Grace (Rogers) Glover, age 94, of Clayton, NC, formerly of Mansfield and Wellsboro, PA, went to meet her Lord and Savior on Sunday, February 7, 2010 surrounded by her loving family. Grace was born July 2, 1915 in Covington, PA, a daughter of James and Bertha (Tuttle) Rogers. She was the wife of the late Raymond C. Glover. Grace was a member of the First Baptist Church in Wellsboro, PA, and JOY Just Older Youth of the church. She enjoyed writing poetry, needlework and crafts which she gave away to friends and family.
Grace is survived by a son and daughter-in-law, William James and Jan Glover of VA; five daughters and sons-in-law, Joyce Marie DiMuzzio of Wellsboro, PA, Gwendolynne Lynne and Tom Mann of Clayton, NC, Leola Lee Grace and Daniel Stadler of Clayton, NC, formerly of Wellsboro, PA, Ruth Elizabeth and Russ Warren of Raleigh, NC, Pauline Esther Polly Werline of Grand Prairie, TX, several grandchildren, great grandchildren and great great grandchildren. Grace was predeceased by her husband, Raymond in 1993, a daughter, Rayona Jean Perry, two sons-in-law, Glenn Smith in 2005 and Robert DiMuzzio in 2008. Her brother Hugh, and sisters; Louise, Naomi and Gwen all went on before her.
A memorial service will be held at a later date at the First Baptist Church in Wellsboro, PA. Burial will be in Tioga County Memorial Gardens, Charleston Twp., Mansfield, PA. Memorial contributions may be made in Grace's memory to His Thousand Hills Christian Activity Center, 458 Phippen Road, Wellsboro, PA 16901. Arrangements have been entrusted to the Jacquelyn A.
