Obituary of Wahneta Huntington
Wahneta Huntington, age 82, died Thursday, October 15, 2009 at Broad Acres Health and Rehabilitation Center, Wellsboro, PA. She was born in Morris, PA, a daughter of James and Charlotte Putman. She was the wife of the late Charles Huntington who passed away in 1980. Wahneta was a member of the Galeton V.F.W. She had worked as a waitress in several restaurants. She had worked at Wundies and Galeton Production Co. Wahneta enjoyed reading books and doing crossword puzzles
Wahneta is survived by two sons and daughters-in-law, Charles and Sharon Huntington of Galeton, PA, Leslie and Joan Huntington of Virginia Beach, VA; a daughter and son-in-law, Linda and Edward Lind of Lawrenceville, PA; a special grandson, Jamie Huntington of Elkland, PA, eight other grandchildren and several great grandchildren. She was predeceased by her husband, Charles; a son, Gary Huntington, in 1993; a great grandson, Damian Huntington, in 2008; two brothers, Earl and James Putnam.
Family and friends are invited to call on Saturday, October 17, 2009 from 1:00 to 2:00 P.M. at the Jacquelyn A. Buckheit Funeral Chapel, Crematory & Monuments, PC, 637 S. Main St., Mansfield, PA. Funeral services will be held immediately following the viewing at 2:00 P.M. at the funeral home. Burial will be in West Branch Cemetery. www.buckheitfcandcrematory.com
