Obituary of Ira Andrew Baker

Ira Andy Andrew Baker, age 49, of Elkland, PA, died Friday, October 9, 2009 at Robert Packer Hospital, Sayre, PA. Andy was born May 5, 1960 in Wellsboro, PA a son of Harry and Grace (Moore) Baker. He was a member of the Rod and Gun Club in Elkland. Andy enjoyed spending time with his dog, Sally and hunting. He was a U. S. Army Veteran. Andy is survived by his mother, Grace Sharrow, of Canton, PA; two sons, Andrew Baker and Ira Baker, both of Knoxville, PA; one grandson, Trentyn Baker; three brothers and a sister-in-law, Harry Baker and Joseph (Juanita Mishoe) Baker, both of Mansfield, PA, Todd (Deb) Baker of Osceola, PA; a sister, Harriet Baker of Wellsboro, PA; nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by his father, Harry; two brothers, Philip and Scott Baker. Services will be held at the convenience of the family. Burial will be in West Branch Cemetery, Delmar Twp.
