Obituary of Ronda Mitchell
Ronda Mitchell, age 50, of Mansfield, PA, died suddenly on Friday, July 24, 2009 at Soldiers & Sailors Memorial Hospital, Wellsboro, PA. Ronda was born March 18, 1959 in Wellsboro, PA, and was the daughter of Ronald and Eleanor (Kendrick) Moore. She was the wife of David E. Mitchell. Ronda was the owner and operator of Wests Dining Room and Lounge in Mansfield. She enjoyed spending time with her family, horseback riding, and collecting carousels, and taking her granddaughter to pick wild flowers.
Ronda is survived by her husband, David; a daughter and son-in-law, Samantha and Neal Graham of Nauvoo; her parents, Ronald and Eleanor Moore of Mansfield, PA; three grandchildren, Mackenzi, Ashley and Lacey; a brother and sister-in-law, Russell Rusty and Laurie Moore of Stafford, VA; a sister and brother-in-law, Lynn and Terry VanOrden of Mansfield, PA; a father-in-law, Carl Mitchell of Covington, an aunt Kaye Brown of Blossburg, PA; nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her mother-in-law, Beatrice Mitchell in 2008.
Family and friends are invited to call on Sunday, July 26, 2009 from 6:00 to 8:00 P.M. and Monday, July 27, 2009 from 9:00 to 10:00 A.M. at the Jacquelyn A. Buckheit Funeral Chapel, Crematory & Monuments, PC, 637 S. Main St., Mansfield, PA. Funeral services will follow the viewing on Monday at 10:00 A.M. at the funeral home with Pastor Dave Dressler officiating.
