Obituary of John Seaman
John Jack Seaman, age 67, of Morris, PA, formerly of Norristown, PA, died on Tuesday, July 7, 2009 in Robert Packer Hospital, Sayre, PA, after a long illness. Jack was born on September 23, 1941 in Norristown, PA, the son of the late Michael and Erma (Walters) Seaman. Jack is survived by his wife of 36 years, Madeline Mary (Ambrosia) Seaman.
Jack was a 1959 graduate of Norristown High School, and served in the US Coast Guard. Jack was a plant superintendent for ECRI Institute, a medical research facility in Plymouth Meeting, PA, prior to his retirement in November 2002. An avid golfer, he was a member of Corey Creek Golf Club, Mansfield, PA. Jack also enjoyed hunting, fishing and pinochle.
In addition to his wife, Madeline, Jack is survived by three nephews, Phillip J. Ambrosia, Samuel J. Ambrosia, Michael Ellis; a niece, Marnie Ellis Marini, and one sister, Barbara Jane Ferrall of Pittsburgh. Jack was predeceased by a sister, Lois Ellis.
