Obituary of Beverly Dean Newcomer

Beverly Dean Newcomer, age 65, of Roaring Branch, PA, died on Friday, June 26, 2009 in The Williamsport Hospital and Medical Center, Williamsport, PA. Beverly was born on March 10, 1944 in Shunk, PA, the daughter of the late Arthur W. and Caroline C. (Bianchi) Smith. Her husband, Harold Norman Woodward predeceased her on January 4, 2008. Beverly was a homemaker who enjoyed bingo, reading, soap operas, baby sitting and her girls which were her life. Beverly is survived by four daughters, all of Roaring Branch, PA: Sally Newcomer, Carleen Newcomer, Sherry Engel, Bethann Donato; four grandchildren, several step children, nieces, nephews, sisters and brothers. In addition to her parents and husband, she was also predeceased by a son, Harold Hecky Newcomer on March 28, 2002. A memorial service will be held on Thursday, July 2, 2009 at 11:00 AM at the Roaring Branch United Methodist Church, Rt. 14, Roaring Branch, PA, with Pastor Ann Overmiller officiating.
