Obituary of Valeda Angie Van Horn

Valeda Angie VanHorn, age 93, formerly of Nelson, PA, died Thursday, May 29, 2009 at The Green Home, Wellsboro, PA. Valeda was born December 29, 1915 in Farmington Twp., PA, a daughter of Dean and Edna (West) Colegrove. She was the wife of George VanHorn of Wellsboro, PA. Valeda is survived by her husband, George; a daughter, Betty Dean Meckes of Elmira, NY; two grandchildren, Dean Meckes and Jacqueline DiFlorio; four great grandchildren, Ryan Meckes, Brianne Meckes, Chelsea Levy and Christen LaFlamme. She was predeceased by two brothers, Morris and Edward Colegrove. A graveside memorial service will be held on Saturday, June 6, 2009 at 2:00 P.M. at the Middlebury Union Cemetery, Middlebury, PA with the Rev. Eugene Charsky officiating. The Jacquelyn A.
