Obituary of Anita F. Speary

Anita F. Speary, age 85, of Mansfield, PA, died Thursday, May 7, 2009 at Broad Acres Health and Rehabilitation Center in Wellsboro, PA. Anita was born August 18, 1923 in Mansfield, PA, a daughter of Willis and Alice (Winters) Moore. Anita was a retired school teacher from R.B. Walter Elementary School. She was a member of Canoe Camp Church of Christ (Disciples) and had served as the organist. She enjoyed reading and doing crossword puzzles. Anita is survived by her son, Edward Speary III of Mansfield, PA; three grandchildren, Edward Speary IV, Willis Speary and Wesley Speary; a great grandson, Harley David Speary; two brothers and sisters-in-law, Ray and Vivian Moore of North Carolina, Cecil and Nancy Moore of Ohio. She was preceded in death by her husband, Edward Speary II in 1968. Family and friends are invited to call on Tuesday, May 12, 2009 from 10:00 A.M. to Noon at the Jacquelyn A. Buckheit Funeral Chapel, Crematory & Monuments, PC, 637 S. Main St., Mansfield, PA. Funeral services will follow the viewing at Noon on Tuesday at the funeral home with the Rev.
