Obituary of Janet L. Burt

Janet L. Burt, age 83, of Mansfield, PA, died Wednesday, March 18, 2009 at her residence. Janet was born July 27, 1925 in Wellsboro, PA, a daughter of Joseph and Frances (Welch) Allen. She was the wife of the late Sidney Jack Burt. Janet had been employed by R & L Electronics; Sours Variety Store and Wundies. She enjoyed gardening, volunteering at Hospice and giving to others. Janet is survived by her children; David and Ruth Burt of Mansfield, PA, Kathryn Rouse of Sassamanisville, PA, Allen Burt, and Richard Rick Burt, both of Mansfield, PA; five grandchildren, Andrea Cuff, Christie Parslow, Richard Rouse, Dan Rouse, and Joshua Burt; five great grandchildren. She was predeceased by her husband, Jack, two sisters, Christine Zuchowski and Betty Burgett, and a grandson, Jonathan Burt. A private memorial service will be held at the convenience of the family.
