Obituary of Lorraine Leah Kilburn
Lorraine L. Kilburn, age 74, of Addison, NY, died Saturday, February 7, 2009 at Robert Packer Hospital, Sayre, PA. Lorraine was born March 6, 1934 in Coudersport, PA, a daughter of Robert and Emma Minnie (Carey) Nichols. Lorraine retired from Corning, Inc. with 43 years of service. She was a member of the Church of the Redeemer Episcopal Church in Addison, A Charter Member of Eagles Ladies Auxiliary #3904 in Addison, and the Loyal Order of the Moose, Chapter 326 in Corning, NY. Lorraine enjoyed gardening and dogs.
Lorraine is survived by a daughter, Dawn Bablo of Addison, NY; three grandchildren, Brandi Hunt, Jason (Christina) Seeley, and Jacob (Julie) Seeley; two great grandchildren, Emma Wilson and Amore Seeley; a brother and sister-in-law, David and Janice Nichols of Albuquerque, NM; a sister-in-law, Sharon Nichols of Painted Post, NY. She was predeceased by a daughter, Deborah Robinson, in 2002, a great granddaughter, Genevieve Wilson in 1993, and three brothers and sisters-in-law, Dick and Louise Nichols, Howard Keith Nichols and Robert and Tony Nichols.
A memorial service will be held at a later date. Burial will be in Addison Rural Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made in Lorraines memory to the American Cancer Society, 1948 E. Third St., Williamsport, PA 17701. The Jacquelyn A.
