Obituary of Joan White

Joan White, age 76, of Gillett, PA, died Thursday., December 24, 2009 at Bradford Co. Manor, W. Burlington Twp., PA. Joan was born January 30, 1933 in Niagara Falls, NY, a daughter of John and Dorothy (Parsons) Ford. She was the wife of Harold White with whom she would have celebrated a 51st wedding anniversary of December 27th. Before retireing, she was employed by the I.R.S. and had taught school in Syracuse, NY. Joan is survived by her husband, Harold, of Gillett, PA; a son, John Walter White of Charlotte, NC; two daughters, Cynthia Louise Steele of Georgetown, KY, and Gwendolyn White of Sterling Heights, MI; a sister, Const6ance Dowling of Jamestown, VA. She was predeceased by a sister, Madeline Gray. A memorial service will be held at a later date. The Jacquelyn A. Buckheit Funeral Chapel, Crematory & Monuments, PC, 637 S.
