Obituary of Eugene E. Hills

Eugene E. Hills, age 72, of Tioga, PA, died Thursday, December 24, 2009 at Carlisle Regional Medical Center, Carlisle, PA. Eugene was born November 8, 1937 in Bath, NY, a son of David and Velma (ODell) Hills. He was the husband of Laura Hills. Eugene was a member of Holy Child Catholic Church, Mansfield, PA, and the former St. Marys Catholic Church in Tioga and the Loyal Order of Elks in Towanda, PA. He was a devoted family man who enjoyed NASCAR races, playing darts, pool, horseshoes, barbeques, and building projects for family and himself. Eugene is survived by his wife, Laura, of Tioga, PA; a son and daughter-in-law, Alan and Terry Hills of Mansfield, PA; a daughter and son-in-law, Susan and D. Pete Bogaczyk of Carlisle, PA; grandchildren, Pamela (Rob) Lehman, Zackery (Liz) Bogaczyk, Janelle Hills; great grandson, Weston Bogaczyk; a sister-in-law, Rosemond (Frederick Rick) Bolt of Millerton, PA; brother-in-law, Duane (Ann) Sisson of Lyman, NY. Funeral services will be private and will be held at the Jacquelyn A. Buckheit Funeral Chapel, Crematory & Monuments, PC, 637 S. Main St., Mansfield, PA. Burial will be in Evergreen Cemetery, Tioga, PA. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made in Eugenes memory to Holy Child Catholic Church, 245 S.
