Type Obit Here Christopher A. Wood, age 27, of Columbia Cross Roads, PA, died unexpectedly Friday, July 28, 2006. Christopher was the husband of Maria N. (Cerrone) Wood. He was born January 21, 1979 in Wellsboro, PA, a son of Carol (Wood) Gernert of Troy, PA. Christopher was employed by Mansfield Crane Service as a truck driver. He was a loving father; enjoyed the outdoors, four-wheeling, hunting, and his horses. Chris is survived by his wife, Maria; a son, Christopher Wood, Jr.; a daughter, Kylie Leann Wood, both at home; his mother, Carol (Wood) Gernert of Troy, PA; a brother, William B.J. Wood of Troy, PA; a sister, Linzi Orr of Columbia Cross Roads, PA; maternal grandfather, Paul Wood of Roseville, PA; maternal grandmother, Jeanne (Jim) Crawford of New Albany, PA; aunts, uncles and cousins.` Family and friends are invited to call on Monday, July 31, 2006 from 1:00 to 3:00 P.M. at the Jacquelyn A. Buckheit Funeral Chapel, Crematory & Monuments, PC, 637 S. Main St., Mansfield, PA. A memorial service will be held immediately following the visitation at 3:00 P.M. at the funeral home with the Rev. Kenneth Marple officiating.
