Obituary of Marilyn K. Wheeler
Marilyn K. Wheeler, age 65, formerly of Tioga, PA, died Sunday, February 1, 2009 at the Green Home in Wellsboro, PA. Marilyn was born August 25, 1943 in Covington, PA, a daughter of Howard and Marguerite (Nobles) Munson. She was the wife of Jon C. Wheeler for 36 years. Marilyn had been employed at Wundies and Wal-Mart. Marilyn was a member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints in Mansfield, PA. She had participated in the Sunday Night Couples Bowling League, enjoyed cross stitch, cooking and reading.
Marilyn is survived by her husband, Jon C. Wheeler of Tioga, PA; three sons and daughters-in-law, Donald Davy of Addison, NY, Thomas and Donna Davy of East Ridge, TN, Jon G. Wheeler, of Tioga, PA, her husbands sons; Kirk and Jill Wheeler of Middlebury Center, PA, Alan and Aleta Wheeler, Lynnville, IN; three daughters and sons-in-law, Michele Koss of Chesterfield, VA, Jennifer and Adam Kerstetter of Millerton, PA, Krista and Jeremy Hotelling of Layton, UT; one brother and sister-in-law, Howard and Naomi Munson of FL; two sisters and brothers-in-law, Faith and Lynn Sherman of Mansfield, PA, Beverly and Lewis Cummings of Prattsburg, NY.
Family and friends are invited to call on Friday, February 6, 2009 from 7 to 9 PM at the Jacquelyn A. Buckheit Funeral Chapel, Crematory & Monuments, PC, 637 S. Main St., Mansfield, PA. Funeral services will be held on Saturday, February 7, 2009 at 3 PM at the funeral home with Michael Sell officiating.
