Obituary of Patricia Wakefield Ford

Patricia Wakefield Ford, age 58, of Wellsboro and formerly of Quakertown, PA, died on Sunday, November 29, 2009 in Soldiers & Sailors Memorial Hospital, Wellsboro, PA. Patricia was born on June 28, 1951 in Albany, NY, the daughter of Edward L. and Shirley (Kinsey) Ford. A graduate of Quakertown High School, Patricia was a licensed practical nurse. She loved animals, especially horses, dogs and cats. Her family meant a lot to her and was a source of great strength through trying times. Patricia is survived by two brothers and sisters-in-law, Edward N. and Barbara Ford of Coopersburg, PA, Robert H. and Geralyn Ford of Allentown, PA; one sister and brother-in-law, Eleanor F. and Dennis A. Hallman of Quakertown, PA; one nephew, Kevin E. Hallman and one niece, Melissa S. Ford. A memorial service will be held on December 19, 2009 at 11:00 A.M. at the Trinity Lutheran Church , Yerger Building, Erie & Hellertown Ave., Quakertown, PA 18951. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in Patricias name to the Pennsylvania SPCA, Mansfield Rd., Rt. 6, Wellsboro, PA 16901 or the Lions Eye Bank of NE PA.
