Obituary of Katherine M. Schroeder
Katherine M. Schroeder, age 82, of Wellsboro, PA, formerly of Albuquerque, New Mexico died Wednesday, January 28, 2009 at Soldiers & Sailors Memorial Hospital, Wellsboro, PA. Katherine was born November 15, 1926 in Chicago, IL, a daughter of Mathew and Anna (Huegel) Boehmer. Katherine was a retired RN. She was a member of the Audubon Society, Mensa, an avid reader, and a published poet.
Katherine is survived by two daughters and a son-in-law, Susan and Dr. Richard Thompson of Wellsboro, PA, Kathryn Schroeder of Albuquerque, NM; a son and daughter-in-law, Mark and Lisa Schroeder of Los Lunas, NM; five grandchildren, Daniel, Rachel, Sarah, Summer and Ryan; one great grandson; four nieces and four nephews. She was predeceased by three brothers, Steven, Frank and Mathew Boehmer of Chicago, IL.
Funeral services will be held on Sunday, February 1, 2009 at 1:30 P.M. at the Jacquelyn A. Buckheit Funeral Chapel, Crematory & Monuments, PC, 637 S. Main St., Mansfield, PA with the Rev. James Revie officiating.
