Obituary of John H. Deming
John H. Deming, age 72, of Blossburg, PA, died Monday, November 2, 2009 at his home. John was born September 14, 1937 in Coudersport, PA, a son of Howard E. and Elizabeth (Hewitt) Deming. Prior to his retirement, John was a teacher for the Southern Tioga School District. He was a member of St. James Episcopal Church and was a veteran having served with the U.S. Navy SeeBees. He enjoyed dogs, hunting, and was an avid fisherman.
John is survived by three sons and two daughters-in-law, John and Teresia Deming of Blossburg, PA, Adam and Yuko Deming of Indianapolis, IN, Michael Tyke Deming of TX; three step-sons, Daniel Strange of TX, Mark Hotter of Morris, PA, Ron Hotter of Morris, PA; a step daughter, Debbie Campbell of Mainesburg, PA; four grandchildren, Patrick, Eric, Mika and Erika Deming; two brothers and a sister-in-law, Andrew Deming of Blossburg, PA, Howard and Nancy Deming of Tioga, PA; nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by his parents,
Family and friends are invited to call on Thursday, November 5, 2009 from 1:00 to 2:00 P.M. at the Jacquelyn A. Buckheit Funeral Chapel, Crematory & Monuments, PC, 637 S. Main St., Mansfield, PA.
