I would like to say that I am truly sorry, I am sorry for the loss of a great Man and I am very greatful that the I got to spend a portion of my life loving him. I spent some time reliving memories in my mind and I wrote a poem that I would like to share in memory of Joey. How I met Joey is really kind of cool, I was very young, just fresh out of school Lost and confused of where to go..Somehow I ended up in good ol� Wellsboro Joey was a friend so opposite of me...He liked making anything that moved have enormous speed He loved the excitement of explosions of all kinds... And climbing trees to the very top and swinging from vines From Bahahing through the woods To swimming in every hole with water To the endless nights camping in the wilderness.. Joey had me living a life that no flat-lander should have. Joey was a prankster in so many ways He loved to surprise you and get you while you were in a daze I never forget the time in Tennessee Surrounded by storms and Tornadoes I was scared as can be... He snuck out of the camper, the lightening hit, and he jumped on the outside of the window Scaring the living �shit� out of me. He tricked me into eating just about anything And would laugh as he pulled out the caucus� Of what was once a living thing One thing Joey left with me was the courage to live To find adventure in just about anything. He lived life to fullest and never had fear He lived on the edge enjoying his life and enjoying each year As we grew older, we surly grew apart But Joey will always hold a special place in my heart And although these memories are far in my past There are millions of memories that will forever last.
