Obituary of Barbara A. Cole

Barbara A. Cole, age 79, of Corning, NY, formerly of Mansfield, PA, died Monday, January 12, 2009 at Broad Acres Nursing and Rehabilitation Center in Wellsboro, PA. Barbara was born March 2, 1929 in Howland, Maine, a daughter of Frederick and Evelyn (Bernard) Michaud. She was the wife of Paul E. Cole and they celebrated their 59th anniversary on October 29th, 2008. She was a member of the Good Neighbor Club. Barbara is survived by her husband, Paul; one son, Steven P. Cole of Corning, NY; a daughter and son-in-law, Susan M. and Roger Sweely of Mansfield, PA 4 grandchildren, Tricia Hall, Joseph Sweely, Peter Cole, and Jeffery Cole; 3 great grandchildren, Madison Cole, Molli Hall, and Kyli Hall; two brothers and sisters-in-law, Frederick Jr. and Jolie Michaud of Washington, DC, Richard and Nancy Michaud of Villages, FL; two sisters, Annette Bonsignore of Weathersfield, CT, and Charlene Williams of Weathersfield, CT. Family and friends are invited to call on Friday, January 16, 2009 from 9:30 to 10:30 A.M. at the Jacquelyn A. Buckheit Funeral Chapel, Crematory & Monuments, PC, 637 S. Main St., Mansfield, PA. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at Holy Child Catholic Church, S. Main St., Mansfield, PA at 11:00 A.M. with the Rev. Jacek Bialkowski as celebrant.
