Obituary of Janice E. Johnston

Janice E. (Gill) Johnston, age 79, of Mansfield, PA died Tuesday, January 6, 2009 at her home. Janice was the wife of the late William E. Johnston who died in 1989. Janice was born on December 14, 1929 in Carlton, NY, a daughter of Cecil A. and Caroline E. (Hatcher) Gill. She was a member of the Evangelical Wesleyan Church in Mansfield, PA, and TOPS Club in Mansfield, PA. Janice is survived by four sons and daughters-in-law, William P. and Bonnie Johnston, David L. and Debbie Johnston, Timothy D. and Ruth Johnston, all of Mansfield, PA, Rev. James A. and Janice Johnston of Mitchell SD; 9 grandchildren; 6 great grandchildren; and a sister, Betty Gill of Mainesburg, PA. Family and friends are invited to call on Thursday, January 8, 2009 from 7:00 to 9:00 P.M. at the Jacquelyn A. Buckheit Funeral Chapel, Crematory & Monuments, PC, 637 S. Main St., Mansfield, PA. and on Friday, January 9, 2009 from 10:30 to 11:00 A.M. at the Evangelical Wesleyan Church, Pickle Hill, Mansfield, PA. Funeral services will be held immediately following the viewing on Friday, January 9, 2009 at 11:00 A.M. at the Evangelical Wesleyan Church with the Rev. Delbert Howard officiating.
