Obituary of Bruce L. Brant
Bruce L. Brant, age 89, of Lawrenceville, PA, died on Sunday, September 21, 2008 in Broad Acres Rehabilitation Center, Wellsboro, PA. Born on September 13, 1919 in Lawrenceville, PA, he was the son of the late Arthur G. and Mary (Lee ) Brant. Bruce was married to Elizabeth W. (Wheeler) Brant.
Prior to his retirement, Bruce was employed with Ingersoll-Rand. He was a member of the Calvary Methodist Church.
In addition to his wife, Elizabeth, Bruce is survived by two daughters and a son-in-law, Barbara and Larry Bates of Addison, NY, Jan Brant of Mansfield, PA; one son and daughter-in-law, Donald and Sandra Brant of Tioga, PA; five grandchildren and several great grandchildren.
Family and friends are invited to call on Wednesday, September 24, 2008 from 5:00 PM to 6:00 PM at the Jacquelyn A. Buckheit Funeral Chapel, Crematory & Monuments, PC 637 S. Main St. Mansfield, PA. A funeral service will be held immediately following the visitation at 6:00 PM at the funeral home with Bruces daughter-in-law, the Rev. Sandra Brant, officiating. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made in Bruces name to the American Heart Association, 613 Baltimore Dr., Wilkes-Barre, PA 18702. Burial will be in Powers Corners Cemetery, Rt. 49, Lawrenceville, PA. www.buckheitfcandcrematory.com.
