Charlie was the first BEST friend I ever had. His family excepted me into their family as a member from the time I was 10 yrs old until I went back to Denver when I was 16. David,Tommy,Kelly and Keri were like brothers and sisters. who could ever forget the epic road trips to Walt Disney Land and then Walt Disney World. I played a round of golf with Charlie way to soon after he first got sick. Sabrina didn't really even know who I was and boy was she NOT happy. I was ignorant to how sick he really was. That was Sept.99. I hadn't seen him in 19 years. The last time I saw Charlie was NewYears Eve 1999 25 years ago. The first 19 felt like five or six. the last 25, more like 100. I've always kept him close to my heart and always will. I'm so sorry for his families loss. I love you Charlie

I have good memories with the family going to his house and playing hockey with the other kids or going to a hockey game in Elmira. I enjoyed discussing our times in the Army and also talking about military stuff and the politics. I wish the family my best and will pray for them all. Rest Easy!!

Such an awesome guy. We at the diesel plant were lucky to have him. He was a light in this world. We will truly miss him. Going to miss talking about football and hockey with him. Thanks, Charles, for good memories. - (Diesel Plant)

Uncle Chuck sent me this photo a few months back. Always great times up at the cabin. One thing Charlie was great at was taking us boys under his wing . Teaching us how to fish , shoot a gun , set up a tent . I know for me it was huge having a male figure in my life to teach me these things . You will be greatly missed .
