Obituary of Joseph Nash Ewing

Joseph Nash Ewing, age 85, of Millerton, PA, passed away at his home on Wednesday, September 18, 2024. Joseph was born May 3, 1939 in Carlisle, PA, a son of Joseph and Mary (Senior) Ewing. Before his retirement he worked in the construction industry as a project manager and was a veteran of the US Army and served in the Army Security Agency. Joseph enjoyed his retirement years living in the mountains and he always loved being outside. He was a huge fan of NASCAR and motorsports. He was very mechanically inclined and enjoyed working on cars and was adept at home improvement projects. He liked to spoil his many pets over the years, most recently his dog Molly. Joseph is survived by four sons, Scott (Joni) Ewing of Fort Indiantown Gap, PA, Dwight (Deborah) Ewing of Glenside, PA, John (Christy) Tanaiewski of Colorado Springs, CO and Dan (Jen) Tanaiewski of Plymouth Meeting, PA. He is survived by three daughters, Kim A. Ewing, and her domestic partner Ivy Velez of Marlborough, MA, Candice (Michael) Nice of Montgomeryville, PA, and Kristina (Mike) Dickinson of Wellsboro, PA. Eight grandchildren, and one great grandchild. He was preceded in death by his wife, Sharon Ewing.
