Obituary of Steven Monks
Steven Monks, age 61, of Wellsboro, PA, passed away on Monday, September 2, 2024, at UPMC Williamsport, in Williamsport, PA. He was born on September 28, 1962, in Wellsboro, PA, a son of Donald and Eileen (Obourn) Monks. Steven worked in the gas well industry, was a member of the Hillside Rod and Gun Club, and was a veteran of the U.S. Coast Guard.
Steven is survived by his son Jacob Monks of Las Vegas, NV; grandson Mason Monks; parents Donald and Eileen Monks of Wellsboro, PA; sister Cheryl (Matthew) Bonham of Wellsboro, PA; a niece Morgan Cleveland; and two nephews, Adam Cleveland and Shane (Chrissie) Cleveland.
